Thorn Ridge is an incredible twenty seven acre vineyard along the Sonoma Coast just nine miles from the Pacific ocean. The twenty-year-old vines sit along a slope of Goldridge soil where they are dry farmed by owner Ted Klopp. The small clusters of Pinot noir are hand harvested and slowly fermented in small open-top fermenters. After fermentation is complete we press the wine into French oak barrels where it matures for eleven months until bottling. Only one hundred twenty-five cases of this wine were produced, we hope you enjoy it.
